PACES NEEDS

     We are into our first full calendar year of helping our community. We are looking forward for bigger and better things to happen to the PACES HOUSE. We have been helping families since June 07, we were off to a shaky start not knowing what to expect but a lot of praying got us going and we fell right into the groove. At times i thought we would be falling and not getting up again(power of prayer works). We have not made many changes, just a few modifications and a few additions, like our new storage trailer behind the house, a 53ft trailer, only thing missing is shelves(hint,hint). Just in the month of December we have helped 31 families with food issuing a total of over 1,000 cans to all the families. That is why our need is so great this month to replenish, over Christmas a more than normal amount of aid was requested. Please answer the challenge for filling the barrels at the doors. If you would rather us do the shopping we will be more than happy to take a cash donation.

                                           ITEMS OF NEED

 WE ARE IN GREAT NEED OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:  mixed vegetables,canned chicken, vienna sausages, sloppy joe mix, canned potatoes, canned luncheon meats(pork,ham,beef,spam), corned beef hash, regular size soup, family size soup, tomatoe sauce(small), canned tomatoes.

PLEASE MAKE SURE NO ITEMS HAVE REACHED THE EXPIRATION DATE.

 

 

                                            RECYCLE PROGRAM

WANT TO SEND A GREAT BIG THANK YOU OUT TO ALLISON DUNHAM WHO IS TAKING CARE OF THE ALUMINUM RECYCLING PROGRAM. SO FAR WE HAVE HAD $91.00 RAISED THRU THE RECYCLING PROGRAM, THE MONEY IS USED FOR RESTOCKING OUR GROCERIES. WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS BROUGHT IN CANS.
