ANNOUNCEMENTS
To all individuals who contribute time, food, clothing and financial support to PACES, thank you for all your generous donations and support. Thank you for your heart and compassion for others. With your generous support PACES is able to continue to help many families and
individuals. On average you help at least 150 families and more every month.
We are VERY greatful to all who have participated in food drives for the PACES HOUSE. We appreciate the generousity of all who support PACES with food, clothing, household items and financial contributions.

Also to IGA-Shumperts for its Hot Cocoa powder donation of 284 lbs. January 2011 A special thank you to Pepperidge Farms for donating 5 large boxes of snacks.
December 2010 A very big thank you to New Hope Baptist church-(MJN) whose Food drive donated 589.6 lbs (623 Items)
and who helped over 50 needy kids to receive toys for Christmas.
November 20 2010 A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers who made the Community Thanksgiving Dinner a reality. We fed over 170 people in at this first ever community event. This would not have been possible without the help and support of the following:

June 2010 Thank you to Mr. Donald Rish who brought 2 boxes of peaches, 2 boxes of cucumber, 5 salad mixes and 6 boxes of pasta to stock the PACES shelves.

April 2010 Pelion High School FFA contributed 2 trays of tomato plants and 2 trays of Marigolds. We very much appreciate this environmentally –friendly donation.

April 2010 The PACES Yard Sale netted $625. Thanks to all who bought the yard sale items and thanks to all of the yard sale helpers. You are appreciated.

Dec. 8, 2009 New Hope Baptist Church conducted a Gospel Concert food drive which resulted in 655.4 lbs
(731 Items) Also the church is helping 5 families by providing Christmas gifts for kids. Many thanks.

Nov. 23 2009 Susan Enlow, in charge of the S.C. Princess Pageant, collected 54.5 lbs (49 items) as their entrance fee to see the pageant.
Nov. 20, 2009 Pelion Middle School Beta Club food drive. Mrs Leslie Hamby challenged her classes to contribute to the food drive pitting Clemson Tigers against USC Gamecocks, with the class that collected the most for the food drive being the winner. The final total was a whopping 1,239 lbs (1,407 Items).
Nov. 16, 2009 The State Food Drive totaled 310 items weighing 283 pounds.
Nov. 10, 2009 Pelion High School (Mrs Pair) donated 6 Boxes of Butternut Squash
Nov. 7, 2009 The Rock And Roll Band (promoted by Chris Settle) conducted a courageous outreach
ministry for the community. The admission price of food items for PACES resulted in a total of 89.9 pounds (93 Items).
Oct. 28, 2009 The Pelion Elementary School food drive collected 254 items weighing 268 pounds.
Oct. 25, 2009 The Nazarene Church came through again. The sport-team food drive was a tremendous outpouring of food items totaling of 1, 648 lbs. We Thank God for all His Blessings, Love, Grace and everything He does for all.
August 29, 2009, PACK THE TRAILER FOOD DRIVE - A great big thank you to the fellow members of the Pelion Church of the Nazarene and to members of the community who supported the first ever "PACK THE TRAILER FOOD DRIVE". We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for donating both time and supplies. The total collected was 446 pounds of food. In all a total count of 561 items of food was donated to PACES. Also 13 pounds of Health and Hygiene items were donated. We need you and we thank you for your continuing support of this vital minsitry that assists people in the Pelion community.
March 2009 - The Forts Pond Elementary School food drive was a real success. The 567 food items received in the drive totaled 479 pounds.
March 2009 - The Pelion Nazarene church gave 225 food Items that weighed 188 pounds.
February 2009 - The Pelion Nazarene church gave 341 food Items that weighed 292 pounds.
February 7, 2009 - The Boys Scout food drive was a great success. The 934 food items received in the drive totaled 820 pounds.
January 31, 2009 - The Cub Scout food drive collected 287 food items with a total of 391 pounds.
January 2009 - The Pelion Nazarene church gave 139 food Items that weighed 201 pounds.
January 2009 - The Corinth Baptist Church gave 10 pounds of food items.
November 2008 - The Pelion Middle School food drive was a great success. The 2016 food items received in the drive totaled 2,066 pounds.
We very much appreciate the continued support of the Pine Grove Baptist Church and Mount Hermon Baptist Church. With your dedicated support we are able to help more families. Thank you very much for your continual donations.
